NBA 2K27 modding, NBA 2K26 modding — what you can do

  • Custom courts — start from the editable NBA floor template or the blacktop, drop your PNG or DDS design, and export it for any team's arena (Lakers, Knicks, Warriors and all 106 NBA arenas in 2K26).
  • Baskets — swap the basket set: NBA stanchion, park rigid pole, ceiling-hung gym and facility rims, streetball and Sunset Beach sets, or any of the game's own 43 created-arena basket packages; chain or regular net; rim behavior.
  • Arenas — seats, signs, banners, scorer's table, benches and walls: pictures and colors part by part; whole buildings on parks.
  • Objects — find, move, turn, resize, hide and copy anything; export objects as kits; transfer them between arenas.
  • Game files — a catalog of every arena, floor, basket set, bowl and scoreboard in NBA 2K27, NBA 2K26 and NBA 2K25, opened straight from the game folder.
  • Share — courts, basket sets and objects as small kit files anyone can drop into their own arena; one design to many arenas at once.

How it works

  1. Pick your game (NBA 2K27, NBA 2K26 or NBA 2K25).
  2. Open an arena or court .iff from the game folder or your mods folder, or start a new court from the template.
  3. Make your changes on the map, in 3D, or from the project panel.
  4. Export. Put the file in your mods folder and play.

Yes. It is free for the 2K modding community; donations are welcome but never required.
Does it work with NBA 2K27?
Yes — NBA 2K27 modding is supported from release day: the tool reads the game's own file catalog, so NBA 2K27 arenas, courts and baskets open the same way as 2K26. NBA 2K26 and NBA 2K25 are fully supported today.
How do I make NBA 2K27 mods?
Pick NBA 2K27, open an arena from the game folder or start a new court from the template, put your design on it, swap the baskets or recolor the arena, then export the .iff into your mods folder.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Files are read and written on your computer; nothing is uploaded.
What image formats work for a court design?
PNG, JPG or WebP (converted for you) or DDS (used as-is). Best size is the court's own, for example 16384×8192 for the NBA floor template or 4096×4096 for a blacktop.
Can I share what I make?
Yes. Courts (.courtkit), basket sets (.hoopkit) and objects (.objkit) are single files with everything inside; anyone adds them from the Court, Baskets or Transfer panels.
